Rebranding and webdesign
For this project my client Info Vest Forlag wanted me to do a complete rebranding of their pedagogical portal spesialpedagog.no. This included a complete redesign of the website, logo and app-icons.
The Logo
I realized almost as soon as I’d started, that Spessialpedagog.no was quit a long name to be able to fit into a neat and structured unit, so quit early in the process, I started to look at a monogram sort of logo. I wanted something that looked clean and professional, a bit familiar, a bit safe and conservative in a way, and at the same time had a level of warmth to it. What I wanted to achieve whit that was a high level of consumer confidence, in other words as soon as you log onto spesialpedagog.no you should feel like you are in a safe and professional environment.
The Illustrations
At the clients request, a focus on illustration rather then photography was chosen in the design. The client knew of my past work in illustration having done book illustrations for them at an earlier stat, and my style of illustration was one of the reason they wanted to work whit me on this project.
